Dear Ms. Lind:
We request the State Office of Administrative Hearings and Rules (SOAHR) to correct an obvious error in rules recently promulgated by the State Tax Commission, as allowed by MCL 24.256(1) of the Administrative Procedures Act.
The State Tax Commission rules, filed with the Secretary of State on December 8, 2010, list the rescissions in the `action paragraph' at the top of the rules, but they do not individually list each rescission in the body of the rules. Since the rescissions were noted in the strike bold version of rules that were published on the SOAHR web site and taken to public hearing, the following rules should be noted as rescissions:
