MCL 24.256 (1) stat es in part :
“S ec. 56. (1) Th e offi ce of regulatory reform shall perform the editorial work for the Michigan register and the Michigan Ad m inistrativ e Code and its annu al supplem ent. Th e classifi cation, arra ngem ent, nu m bering, and ind exing of rules shall be und er the own ership and con trol of the offi ce of regulat ory reform , shall be un iform , and shall con form as nearly as practicable to the classifi cation, arra ngem ent, nu m bering, and ind exing of the com piled laws. Th e offi ce of regulatory reform m ay correct in the publications obvious errors in rules wh en requested by the prom ulgati ng agency to do so…”
