In accordance with MCL 24.256(1) of the Administrative Procedures Act, we are asking your office to correct two obvious spelling errors noted in the following administrative rule. Both errors have been highlighted and underlined for easy identification.
R 338.10602
(b) Three continuing education contact hours may be earnede for each 50 or 60-minute presentation of a continuing education program that is not a part of the licensee's regular job description that is in compliance with the standards set forth in R 338.10603(1), (2), (3), (4), and (5). Credit may be earned for the same program only once in each renewal period. A maximum of 6 continuing education contact hours may be earned pursuant to this subdivision.
We are asking that “earnede” be amended to “earned” in the sentence above.
(e) Twenty-five continuing education contact hours may be earned by specialty certification or recertification as 1 of the following:
(i) nurse midwife
(ii) nurse anethitist
(iii) nurse practitioner.
We are asking that “anethitist” be amended to “anesthetist” in subsection (e)(ii) in the sentence above.

SUBJECT: Correction of obvious error – “Board of Nursing Rules”
We have approved your request to correct an obvious error in Board of Nursing Rules, as published in the Michigan Administrative Code.
The Office of Regulatory Reinvention hereby approves your request to amend the Michigan Administrative Code under MCL 24.256(1) of the Administrative Procedures Act.
R 338.10602 will be changed to read:
