17 CORRECTION OF OBVIOUS ERRORS IN PUBLICATION September 26, 2008

Dear Ms. Lind:

 

The Department is requesting corrections of obvious errors pursuant to Section 24.256(1) of the Administrative Procedures Act for the administrative rules governing “Special Education Programs and Services.”

 

The following is a list of obvious error corrections: Rule 340.1709(e), add a space between “in” and “1978”

Rule 340.1710(3), delete the space between “(2)” and (a)”

 

Rule 340.1719, “Where Published” column, eighth line, insert a period after “pp”

 

Rule 340.1719, “Administrative Code” column, sixth line, “R 340.940 - R 240.948” should be changed to “R 340.940 - R 340.948”

 

R 340.1719, “Michigan Published” column, eighth paragraph, correct spelling of “phusical-” to “physical-”

 

Rule 340.1742(a), change the “l” to “1”

 

Rule 340.1772(3)(d), change “of” to “or” (Verification from a college or university approved by the state board of education for preparation of or special education supervisors of enrollment in the supervisor of special education program)

 

Rule 340.1795(2), delete the space between “(1)” and “(b) Rule 340.1795(3), capitalize “michigan”

Rule 340.1799c(4), remove the “,” after “D.C.”
