The Michigan Dep artm ent of Agricultur e (MDA), Agricultur e Devel opment Divisi on (AgD) will con duct a public hear ing on proposed new ru les promu lgat ed pur suant to Sections 1 an d 2 of Act Num ber 322 of th e Pu blic Act s of 2000 , being §285 .301 , et seq. of th e Michigan Compiled Laws. New ru les proposed to con duct a grant program using monies from th e agricultura l development fun d to esta blish, reta in, expan d, attra ct or develop value-added agricultura l pr ocessi ng an d relat ed agricultura l production operat ion(s) in th is stat e.
The public hear ing will be held on Tuesd ay, November 20, 2001 beginn ing at 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in th e Stat e of Michigan Librar y, Lak e Ontar io Room , 717 West Allegan Str eet, Lan sing Michigan .
