Rule Set 2006-010 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Department of Military & Veterans Affairs, Office of Financial Services will hold a public hearing on Monday, March 6, 2006, at the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, 2500 South Washington Avenue, Lansing, Michigan in the Conference Room on the First Floor at 10:00 a.m. The hearing will be held to receive public comments on a proposed rule for the review of Michigan Family Relief Fund applications and the disbursement of funds.
The proposed rule is a change to an existing rule set (R 200.20 of 2005-004 MA), and was drafted to fulfill the requirements of 2004 PA 363 (MCL 35.1211), and 2004 PA 364 (MCL 35.1211).
This rule change is promulgated by authority conferred on the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs by 2004 PA 363, MCL 35.1211. This rule change will take effect immediately upon filing with the Secretary of State.
The rule change [Rule Set 2006-010] is published on the Michigan Government web site at http://www.michigan.gov/orr and in the March 1, 2006 issue of the Michigan Register. Comments may be submitted to the following address by 5:00 P.M. on Monday, March 6, 2006.
