The Michigan Dep artm ent of En vironm enta l Qua li ty (DEQ), Air Qua li ty Division, will con duct a public hear ing on proposed administrat ive ru les promu lgat ed pur suant to Part 55, Air Pollut ion Contr ol, of th e Natura l Resources an d En vironm enta l Protection Act, 1994 PA 451 , as am ended (Act 451 ); R 336 .1210 thr ough R 336 .1215 an d R 336 .1299 . This proposed ru les packa ge includes proposed chan ges int ended to add ress all out stan ding regulatory iss ues ident ified in th e U.S. En vironm enta l Protection Agency’s Title V Int erim App roval notice for Michigan’s Renewable Ope rat ing Perm it Program . The ru les packa ge also includes severa l provisions int ended to increase operat iona l flexibili ty at a perm itt ed facili ty.
The public hear ing will be held on April 9, 2001 , at 10:00 a.m., in th e AQD Conference Room, Hollister Building, 4th floor, 106 West Alleg an Str eet, Lan sing, Michigan .
