R 436 .1527 of th e Michigan Administrat ive Code is am ended as follows:
R 436 .1527 De li ve ry of liq uo r to pe rson unde r 21 yea rs of age prohibited ; requir emen ts for de li ve ry of liq uo r to pe rsons of lega l age .
Rule 27. (1) A licensee auth orized to sell alcoholic liq uor for con sum ption off th e premises sha ll not mak e a delive ry of alcoholic liq uor to an y person un less that person is 21 year s of age.
(2) A licensee auth orized to sell alcoholic liq uor for con sum ption off th e premises who tak es an order for alcoholic liq uor from a purcha ser for delive ry to an individua l or business at an add ress oth er than that of th e person mak ing th e purcha se ma y delive r or ha ve delive red that alcoholic liq uor to th e reside nt ial or business add ress indicat ed by th e purcha ser mak ing th e order provided th e individua l accep ting delive ry of th e alcoholic liq uor is 21 year s of age or older an d th e person mak ing th e delive ry of th e alcoholic liq uor verifies that th e individua l accep ting th e delive ry is 21 year s of age or older.
(3) A licensee mak ing a sale an d delive ry of alcoholic liq uor un der th e provisions of th is ru le an d/or th e person mak ing th e delive ry of th e alcoholic liq uor sha ll ma inta in proof for inspection by th e comm ission of th e docum ent s used to determ ine th e age of th e individua l to whom th e alcoholic liq uor was delive red.
