    R 408.13902 of the Michigan Administrative Code is amended as follows:

     

    PART 39. DESIGN SAFETY STANDARDS FOR ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS

     

    R 408.13902. Adoption by reference of federal standards.

    Rule 3902. (1) The federal  occupational safety  and health  administration’s regulations on electrical safety promulgated by the United States department of labor and codified at 29 CFR

    1910.303 to 1910.308 and CFR 1910.399, Design Safety Standards for Electrical Systems, February 14, 2007 and appearing in the Federal Register, Volume 72, No 30 on pp. 7135 to 7221 are adopted by reference in these rules as of the effective date of these rules.

    (2)      The adopted federal regulations shall have the same force and effect as a rule promulgated under 1974 PA 154, MCL 408.1001.

    (3)      The provisions of 29 C.F.R. §1910.302 through 1910.308 and 1910.399 are adopted in these rules by reference. The adopted regulations are available from the United States Department of Labor, 315 West Allegan, Room 315 801 South Waverly, Room 306, Lansing, Michigan 48917, at no charge as of the time of adoption of these rules, or via the internet at website www.osha.gov, or from the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Growth, MIOSHA Standards Section Consumer and  Industry Services, Safety Standards Division, 7150 Harris Drive Box 30643, Lansing, Michigan 48909- 8143, at no charge as of the time of adoption of these rules or via the internet at website:  www.michigan.gov/mioshastandards.
