    Emergency Medical Services Coordination Committee Personnel Licensing Rules and Life Support Agencies & Medical Control Rules

     

    The Department of Consumer & Industry Services will hold a public hearing on Friday, June 27, 2003 from 9:00a.m. 11:00 a.m. at the Michigan Library and Historical Center, The Forum Auditorium, 702 West Kalamazoo, Lansing, Michigan.

     

    The public hearing is being held to receive comments from interested persons on the proposed rules, which were developed pursuant to Public Act 375 of 2000, to update regulatory language and to provide authority for the delivery of emergency medical  services and for the licensing and regulation of emergency medical services personnel.

     

    These rules are being promulgated under the authority of sections 2226(d), 2233, 18501, 20115, 20171, 20771 of 1978 PA 368, and Executive Order Nos. 1996-1 and 1996-2, MCL 333.2226(d), 333.2233,

    333.20115, 333.20171, 333.20771, 333.3101, and 445.2001. The rules will become effective seven days after filing with the Secretary of State.

     

    Hearing comments may be presented in person, with written comments available at the time of presentation. Comments may also be submitted by mail, FAX, or electronic mail until July 15, 2003 at 5:00 p.m. Address communications to:
