NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ADMINISTRATIVE RULES 2006-023 TY
The Michigan Department of Treasury will hold a public hearing at the following time and place to receive comments by interested persons on proposed rules for the Children of Veterans Tuition Grant Program:

The proposed changes will clarify eligibility standards for the tuition grant program and standardize program operations.
These rules are promulgated by authority conferred on the Michigan Higher Education Assistance Authority by section 3 of 2005 PA 248, MCL 390.1343. These rules will become effective immediately upon filing with the Secretary of State.
Interested parties may also submit written comments to the Michigan Higher Education Assistance Authority, P.O. Box 30462, Lansing, Michigan 48909, no later than 5:00 p.m. June 24, 2008. Written comments may also be sent electronically to osg@michigan.gov no later than 5:00 p.m. June 24, 2008.
The rules are published on the Michigan Government Web site at http://www.michigan.gov/orr and in the June 15, 2008 issue of the Michigan Register. Copies of the draft rules may also be obtained by mail or electronic request at the addresses above.
