    (1)         IF A  STUD EN T  WHO  CURREN TLY  RECEIVES  SPE CIAL  EDUCATIO N PROGR AMS OR SERVICES EN ROLLS IN  A NE W SCHOOL  DISTRICT , THEN  THE NE W DISTRICT  SHALL DO EITHE R OF THE FOLLOWI NG:

    (A)  WITH THE PAREN TS CONSEN T, IMMEDIATELY IMPLEMEN T THE STUD EN TS CURREN T INDI VIDU ALIZED EDUCATIO N PROGR AM.

    (B)   WITH THE PAREN TS CONSEN T, IMMEDIATELY PLACE THE STUD EN T IN AN APP ROPRIATE PROGR AM OR SERVICE AND CONVENE AN INDI VIDU ALIZED EDUCATIO N PROGR AM TEAM MEE TING WITHIN 30 SCHOOL DAYS TO DEVELOP AN INDI VIDU ALIZED EDUCATIO N PROGR AM.

    (2)   IF THE PAREN T DOES NOT PROVIDE CONSEN T FOR PLACEMEN T, THEN THE DISTRICT WILL IMPLEMEN T THE STUD EN TS CURREN T INDI VIDU ALIZED EDUCATIO N PROGR AM TO THE EXTEN T POSSIBL E AND AN INDI VIDU ALIZED EDUCATIO N PROGR AM TEAM MEE TING SHALL BE CONVENE D TO DEVELOP A NE W INDI VIDU ALIZED EDUCATIO N PROGR AM AS SOON AS POSSIBL E, BUT NOT LATER THAN 30 SCHOOL DAYS.
