    R 325 .47201 is added to th e Michigan Administrat ive Code as follows:

     

    R 325 .47201   Med ical  se rvices  and  first  aid .

    (1)     An employer sha ll ensur e th e ready  availability of medical  personn el for  advice  an d con sultat ion on matt ers of plant health.

    (2)    An employer sha ll ensur e that , in th e abse nce of an infirmar y, clinic, or hospita l in near proximity to th e work place which is used for th e tr eatm ent of all injur ed  employee s,  a person or persons sha ll be adeq uat ely tra ined to render first aid. Adeq uat e  first  aid supplies sha ll be readily available.

    (3)    An employer sha ll ensur e that suita ble facilities for quick drenching or flushing of th e eyes an d body ar e provided with in th e work ar ea for imm edi at e emergency use when th e eyes or body of an y person ma y be exposed to injur ious or corr osive mat erials.

    (4)   This ru le repl aces O.H. ru le 4401 .
