    SOAHR 2006-078 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

    MICHIGAN DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE PESTICIDE AND PLANT PEST MANAGEMENT DIVISION

     

    The Michigan Department of Agriculture, Pesticide and Plant Pest Management Division, will conduct a public meeting on Friday, September 21, 2007, beginning at 1 p.m., at Constitution Hall, Con Con Conference Room, Atrium Level, 525 West Allegan Street, Lansing, Michigan, 48909. The hearing will be held to receive comments on proposed changes to the rules of Regulation No. 637 Pesticide Use.

    Written comments may be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on September 21, 2007, to the address below.

     

    The proposed amendments to Regulation 637 are being promulgated to address issues related to conflicts between the regulation and recent passage of amendments to Act 451, Part 83, as amended, confusing verbiage, regulatory requirement details and clarification for enforceability.
