“Sec. 56. (1) The office of regulatory reform shall perform the editorial work for the Michigan regis ter and the Michigan Ad ministrativ e Code and its annu al supplement. The classifi cation, arra ngement, nu mbering, and indexing of rules shall be und er the ownership and con trol of the office of regulatory reform, shall be un iform, and shall confor m as nearly as practicable to the classifi cation, arra ngement, nu mbering, and indexing of the com piled laws. The office of regulatory reform may correct in the publications obvious errors in rules when requested by the promulgati ng agency to do so…”
