NURSING SCHOLARSHIP RULES
The Michigan Department of Treasury will conduct a public hearing at the following time and place to allow comment by interested persons on Rules 390.901 to 390.915, new rules to implement the Nursing Scholarship Program. The public hearing will be held in accordance with the Michigan Administrative Procedures Act, MCL 24.201 to 24.328.
The rules are authorized by section 3 of the Michigan Nursing Scholarship Act, 2002 PA 591, MCL 390.1183. The rules implement the act and include additional standards of eligibility for students to receive scholarships under the act.

All interested persons are invited to testify at the public hearing and to present oral or written statements, opinions, questions or suggestions concerning the proposed rules. The public hearing will begin at the time noted above and will continue until all parties present have had a reasonable opportunity to make their presentation.
In addition, interested parties may submit written comments to Doug Miller, Office of Policy and Research Development, Department of Treasury, Treasury Building, 430 West Allegan Street, Lansing, MI 48909, no later than September 29, 2003.
If adopted, the proposed rules will take effect 7 days after filing with the Secretary of State.
