NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Sharing Health Care Information

 

The Department of Community Health will hold a public hearing on Monday, October 5, 2009, at 1 p.m. at the Department of Community Health, 201 Townsend, 1st Floor, Conference Center B & C, Lansing, Michigan.

 

The public hearing is being held to receive comments from interested persons on a new proposed rule, Sharing Health Care Information. The new proposed rules would establish procedures for complaints and hearings as required by PA 593.

 

These rules are being promulgated under the authority conferred on the director of community health by section 9 of 2006 PA 593, MCL 550.289. These rules are proposed to take effect immediately upon filing with the Secretary of State.

 

Hearing comments may be presented in person, with written comments available at the time of presentation. Written comments also will be accepted at the following address or E-mail address until 4:30 p.m. on Monday, October 5, 2009. Address communications to:

All hearings are conducted in compliance with the 1990 Americans with Disabilities Act.
