  • (1) During construction, renovation, modification, reconstruction, addition, or remodeling, the architect, professional engineer, or owner's representative shall notify the bureau of fire services, in writing, when the building is ready for inspection under both of the following conditions:

    (a)     When  the  building  is   framed  and  mechanical    systems     are     substantially complete, but before concealment.

    (b)   Upon completion of construction.

    (2)   A person shall not occupy a newly constructed facility or a facility that is being remodeled or added to, in whole or in part, without the approval of the bureau of fire services.
