  • An employer shall provide both protective coats and protective trousers, or a protective coverall, to all employees who engage in or are exposed to fire hazards of emergency operations. The protective coat, trouser, and coverall shall meet the applicable requirements of NFPA 1971: standard on “Protective Ensemble for Structural Fire Fighting,” 2007 edition, as adopted in R 408.17405.
