(1) If, at any time subsequent to an inspection of a vessel and the issuance of a certificate, changes to the hull or any portion of the vessel, including equipment required to be carried onboard, are found to have occurred so that the vessel no longer meets the minimum standards prescribed, the certificate shall be revoked by the department and immediately surrendered to a marine inspector.

(2) Violation of the act or any other act or falsification of information on an application for inspection may also be cause for suspension or revocation of the certificate.
