A licensed operator, when operating a vessel for hire, shall place his or her pilot's license, framed under transparent material, in a conspicuous place on the vessel where it can be seen by passengers and other persons at all times. Where such display is impracticable, the pilot's license shall be carried onboard and shown on demand.
