Section 318.136. Number of carriage licenses.

On or before June 1 of each year, the commission shall issue the number of licenses for horse-drawn vehicles carrying passengers for hire that in its judgment will adequately serve the public, but not more than the following maximum numbers:

(a) Sight-seeing carriages………...... 55 licenses. (b) Taxicabs....................... 17 licenses.

(c) Drive-yourself carriages....... 18 licenses.

(d) Livery carriages............... 21 licenses.
