Part 21. WASTEWATER DISCHARGE PERMITS |
Section 323.2155. Monitoring of discharges authorized by permits; recording and reporting.

(1) A permittee required to monitor a waste or wastewater discharge pursuant to R 323.2154, shall maintain records of all information resulting from such monitoring, including the date, place, and time of sampling; dates analyses were performed; the person performing the analyses; the analytical techniques, procedures, or methods used; and the results of the analyses. All records and results of monitoring activities, and calibration and maintenance records shall be retained by the permittee a minimum of 3 years unless otherwise required or extended by the department or the regional administrator.
(2) The department may require a permittee to report periodically the results of all monitoring activities undertaken on an appropriate reporting form supplied by the department. The department shall notify the permittee of the frequency of reporting, but the reporting frequency shall not be less than at least once in a period of 1 year.
(3) Upon written request of the regional administrator, the department shall transmit thereto any reporting form or other monitoring information required by this rule.
