Section 325.13111. Quality assurance program.

(1) The hospice and its hospice residence, if applicable, shall develop and implement, through an interdisciplinary committee, an ongoing quality assurance program which will monitor activities and identify problems.
(2) The committee shall adopt or develop professional standards which, at a minimum, shall address all of the following:
(a) Interdisciplinary team services.
(b) Patient and family as the unit of care.
(c) Symptom control.
(d) Continuity of care.
(e) Home care services.
(f) Inpatient services.
(3) The committee shall do all of the following:
(a) Collect and analyze data.
(b) Recommend change when necessary.
(c) Recommend reevaluation when necessary.
