Section 325.20304. Patient access; adoption of a procedure to identify representatives of approved organizations; complaints.

(1) A nursing home shall adopt a procedure by which a representative of an approved organization may be identified to the home and the patient, as provided in section 21763(2) of the code, without undue delay not to exceed 30 minutes. Representatives of approved organizations shall carry and, upon request, shall show official identification issued by the organization.
(2) Complaints by nursing homes pursuant to section 21763(4) of the code shall be made to the nursing home task force in accordance with procedures established by that body. Complaints shall be reviewed by the task force under procedures established by it, and a decision of the task force following such review is final, binds the director, and is not subject to further administrative appeal.
