  • (1) Not later than 15 working days for general industry and agricultural operations and not later than 5 working days for the construction industry, after an employer receives the results of any exposure monitoring that is performed pursuant to the provisions of these rules, an employer shall notify each affected employee individually in writing, or by posting the results, in an appropriate location that is accessible to all affected employees.

    (2)    If monitoring results indicate that employee exposure exceeds the PEL, then an employer shall include, in the written notice, a statement that the PEL has been exceeded and a description of the corrective action that is being taken by the employer to reduce employee exposure to or below the PEL.
