(1)   Operation shall comply with the   general requirements of rules 409 and

418.

(2)    Individuals operating mobile or   portable diagnostic x-ray equipment shall wear a

protective apron of minimum 0.5   millimeter lead equivalence unless portable shielding is provided as specified in subrule (1) of rule 422.
