A set of operating procedures shall be posted on or adjacent to the electron microscope, written in understandable, concise language. Appropriate precautions for the safe handling of uranyl salts or other radioactive biological stains shall be included if such substances are used.

[Note: The requirements of this rule that pertain to radiation machine registration, licensing, or compliance are under the purview of the Michigan Department of Consumer & Industry Services.]
