A stereotactic breast biopsy facility shall verify that mammography units used to produce interventional mammograms at more than 1 location meet the requirements in R 325.5687 to R 325.5690. At each examination location and before any examinations are conducted, the facility shall verify satisfactory performance of these units by using a test method that establishes the adequacy of the image quality produced by the unit.
