The facility shall obtain a registration, in accordance with 21 C.F.R. part 1301.11, from the United States department of justice, drug enforcement administration, or its successor agency, before stocking, purchasing, or using sodium pentobarbital to practice euthanasia. Purchases shall be made in accordance with procedures established by the drug enforcement administration.
