(1) An animal control shelter, animal protection shelter, or class b dealer shall establish and maintain written procedures for the administration of a commercially prepared, pre-mixed solution of sodium pentobarbital. These procedures shall be kept on the licensed premises and shall be available for inspection.

(2) An individual’s continued proficiency and compliance with written procedures by an animal control shelter, an animal protection shelter, or a class b dealer, in addition to compliance with all rules and regulations, may be monitored by the administrator or the board of veterinary medicine.
