  • (1) An applicant for a Michigan veterinary technician license by examination shall submit a completed application on a form provided by the department, together with the requisite fee. In addition to meeting the requirements of the code and the administrative rules promulgated pursuant to the code, an applicant shall meet all of the requirements of this rule.

    (2)     An applicant shall have graduated from a program for training veterinary technicians that is approved by the board.

    (3)    An applicant shall have achieved a score of pass on the veterinary technician national examination developed by the American association of veterinary state boards or its successor organization (aavsb).
