Section 338.8133. Category 3: Teaching podiatric physicians or allied health services.

(1) A maximum of 48 credit hours may be earned for serving as an instructor of podiatry students, house staff, other physicians, or allied health professionals in a hospital or institution with a training program approved by the board if the hospital or institution has approved the instruction. A maximum of 48 credit hours may be similarly obtained in a hospital or institution that does not have a training program approved by the board, if the sponsor of the program submits information that the board determines is needed to establish the quality of the instructional program
s(2) A maximum of 48 credit hours may be earned by a licensee who teaches students of accredited podiatry colleges under a rotating externship or clerkship program recognized and approved by the college.
