By submitting an application for license renewal, a licensee shall certify that he or she has complied with the continuing medical education requirements set forth in these rules. The board may require an applicant or licensee to submit evidence to demonstrate compliance with the continuing medical education requirements. It is the responsibility of an applicant or licensee to maintain evidence of his or her compliance with the continuing medical education requirements for a period of 4 years from the date of application for license renewal or relicensure.
