The intermediate school district and its constituent local school districts and public school academies shall be entitled to receive reimbursement for special education programs and services that are in compliance with these rules and in accordance with the intermediate school district plan as approved by the department and as prescribed in 1979 PA 94, MCL 388.1601 et seq. and known as the state school aid act of 1979.
