Specialized transportation or additional transportation, or both, as required in the individualized education program for a person with a disability to receive a free

appropriate public education in the least restrictive educational environment, shall be reimbursable as authorized by 1979 PA 94, MCL 388.1601 et seq., and known as the state school aid act of 1979.
