  • With the approval of the commission, the department may enter into agreements or memoranda of understanding with local human rights agencies or commissions, where such agreements shall  facilitate   the purposes of the constitution and civil rights statutes administered by the department and the commission. The agreements  may include  certification for the investigation of deferred complaints.
