A room for the storage of combustible materials, including a janitor room and closet, a dirty and clean linen room, a receiving room, a kitchen storage room, and a maintenance shop, shall be separated from the remainder of the building by construction that has not less than a 1-hour-fire-resistance rating and shall be protected by automatic sprinklers.
