Section 408.12428. Pressure vessels; adoption of standards.

(1) A pressure vessel that is used  in   conjunction  with  a press before the effective date of this amendatory rule shall be  as prescribed in  the  ASME pressure  vessel  code,   section  VIII,  unfired pressure vessels, 1974, which is adopted by reference in these rules and may be inspected at the Lansing office of the Michigan department  of labor. This code may be purchased at a cost of $40.00  from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, 345 E. 47th Street, New York, New York 10017, or from the Michigan Department of Labor, State Secondary Complex, 7150 Harris Drive, Box 30015, Lansing, Michigan 48909.

(2) A pressure vessel that is installed in conjunction with a press after the effective date of this part shall be as prescribed in the ASME pressure vessel code, section VIII, unfired pressure vessels, 1983, which is adopted by reference in these rules and may be inspected at the Lansing office of the Michigan department of labor. This code may be purchased  at   a cost of $200.00 from the American Society of Mechanical
