Section 408.15342. Aerial lifts.

(1) An aerial lift used for tree trimming, pruning or removal of a tree shall be used and maintained as prescribed in the occupational safety standards commission standard, Part 58. Vehicle   Mounted and Rotating Work Platforms, being R 408.15801 to R 408.15832 of the   Michigan Administrative Code.

(2)   A bucket of an aerial lift shall not be depended on to be electrically insulated.

(3)   An aerial lift shall not be used to lift or lower materials unless specifically designed to perform such operations.

(4)   An employee shall not ride a bucket when the vehicle is moving.
