Section 408.21426. Prehearing conference.

(1) At any time before a hearing, the board or hearings officer, on its own motion or on motion of a party, may direct the parties to exchange information or to participate in a prehearing conference for the purpose of considering matters which will tend to simplify the issues or expedite the proceedings.

(2) The hearings officer shall issue a prehearing statement which shall include the agreements reached by the parties. This statement shall be served on the parties and shall be a part of the record.
