Section 408.4071. Examination; contents.

If an examination applicant's history and experience meet the requirements of R 408.4067, the applicant shall be given a  written examination dealing with the design, construction, installation, and repair of boilers and their appurtenances. The applicant shall be accepted or rejected on the merits of the examination. If  the  applicant  is successful in meeting  the  requirements  of  the board, a license and certificate of competency will be issued by the director. An applicant who fails to pass the examination may appeal to the board for another examination, which shall be given by the board within 90 days. The record of the applicant's examination shall be accessible to the applicant   and his or her employer.
