Section 408.4206. Age limit of standard existing boilers.

The age limit of boilers of standard construction shall be dependent on a thorough internal and external inspection and hydrostatic pressure test of 1 1/2 times the allowable working pressure for a period of 30 minutes. If the boiler under these test conditions exhibits no distress or leakage, it may be continued in operation at the same working pressure.
