All boilers and piping constructed for use in this state shall be inspected and tested during construction as required by the applicable ASME code sections that are adopted by reference in R 408.4025, R 408.4027, and R 408.4032. Any alterations to an existing boiler or piping shall be accomplished in accordance with these rules for new construction.
