Section 408.45301. Adoption of federal standard.

(1) Farm field equipment used in agricultural operation shall be as prescribed in paragraphs (a) to (c) of 29 C.F.R. S1928.57, O.S.H.A.safety and health regulations for the guarding of farm field equipment, farmstead equipment, and cotton gins, which are incorporated herein by reference and may be inspected at the Lansing office of the department of consumer and industry services. This section was published in the March 9, 1976, and October 22, 1976, Federal Registers and may be purchased at a cost of 75 cents from the Superintendent of Documents, Washington, D.C. 20402, or from the O.S.H.A. area office, 231 W. Lafayette, Detroit, Michigan 48226. This section may also be purchased at a cost of 20 cents from the Michigan Department of Consumer and Industry Services, 7150 Harris Drive, Lansing, Michigan 48926.
(2) Notwithstanding the effective dates contained in paragraph (a)(3) of the reference regulation, the effective dates shall be 15 days after filing with the secretary of state.
