An individual shall not be deemed unavailable for work solely because, due to the precepts of his or her religion, the individual limits himself or herself to jobs not requiring work on his or her Sabbath. An individual who refuses to work on the Sabbath designated by his or her religion, or who is discharged from work or voluntarily leaves work, solely
because of conscientious observance of the Sabbath as a matter of religious conviction shall not, for that reason, be disqualified from receiving unemployment benefits.
