Each utility shall comply with the provisions of the occupational safety and health act, 29 U.S.C. S651 et seq., and Act No.154 of the Public Acts of 1974, as amended, being S408.1001 et seq. of the Michigan Compiled Laws, and known as the Michigan occupational safety and health act, and shall operate under applicable federal and state health and safety laws and regulations.
