  • A hearing may be adjourned only upon an order of the administrative law judge. The administrative law judge may order an adjournment on his or her own initiative or upon motion of a party. The administrative law judge shall order an adjournment upon stipulation of the parties. Before a hearing, a motion for adjournment shall be made in writing and shall state with specificity the reasons an adjournment is necessary.
