Rule 101. (1) As used in this part:

(a) "Act" means 1978 PA 368, MCL 333.1101 et seq.

(b) "Authorized representative" means the chairperson, vice chairperson, or such other member of the board or staff as the board may formally designate.

(c) "Board" means the Michigan board of nursing.

(2) Terms defined in the act have the same meanings when used in these rules.
