Rule 457. Section 2801.1 of the code is amended to read as follows:

2801.1. Scope. Mechanical appliances, equipment, and systems shall be constructed, installed, and maintained in accordance with the Michigan mechanical code, R 408.30901 to R 408.30998, and the international fuel gas code listed in chapter

35. Masonry chimneys, fireplaces, and barbeques shall comply with the Michigan mechanical code, R 408.30901 to R 408.30998, and chapter 21 of the code.
